Mythopoeic Mind’s second album, Hatchling, is finally available on vinyl. To describe the album we’ll use the word of Mark Machlay at Metal-Temple.com: “The whole album has a wonderful flow to it, despite the differences between tracks, a fine example of a well-laid out album with a beginning, middle and an end. The production is absolutely stunning as well. It isn’t exactly retro-sounding but it gives the same warm, sunny feeling of records that were produced in the 60’s and 70’s, it’s so elegant.”
Friday August 20 saw the release of Hatchling, the second album by Mythopoeic Mind, on Apollon Records Prog. The project led by Steinar Børve also includes Anders K. Krabberød and Trond Gjellum from Panzerpappa in the line-up. The music is described as a mix of Canterbury and symphonic prog.

Panzerpappa-related project Mythopoeic Mind releases Fear Fiesta, a single from the upcoming album Hatchling. The album is due in August. A video is also released to accompany the song.
Jacob Holm-Lupo has delivered the final master, and Steinar has put the finishing touches on the album art. In other words, Mythopoeic Mind´s second album, entitled Hatchling, has started on the long, slow road from digital to physical formats. Release on Apollon Records Prog in mid-August seems likely .
In the meantime, we plan to share with you a lot of inside info in comings weeks on the where and how concerning the album. Among other things, we plan to slowly, but surely unveil the album art.
